This WAC Lighting FQ 2″ fire rated shallow new construction housing is engineered for installations requiring fire-rated ceiling assemblies in new construction applications. The R2FBN1T-1-F carries a 2-hour fire rating per ASTM E119/UL263 and is IC-rated and airtight for safe installation in insulated ceilings. Its compact, shallow profile accommodates tight plenum spaces, and the included universal mounting brackets and hanger bars simplify rough-in installation. Compatible with WAC FQ 2″ round and square trim luminaires.
