Passive infrared detection: sensors on this model are the best choice for mounting heights between 15′ and 40′ such as warehouses, gyms and other high ceiling areas where multiple sensor coverage is required. It is not recommended for areas where occupants are sitting. Gaps between outer segments get larger as mounting height increases.
