The RAB YBLED is a field-adjustable LED Yardblaster area light delivering up to 8,728 lumens with selectable wattage and selectable CCT. Operating on 120-277V, the fixture is rated IP65 and DLC Premium for high-efficiency outdoor security applications. This compact dusk-to-dawn fixture is designed for yards, driveways, and building perimeters, featuring an integrated photocell to provide automated lighting for residential and commercial sites.

The YBLED delivers an adjustable output range from 5,502 to 8,728 lumens with an efficacy reaching up to 161.2 lm/W. It features a color accuracy of 82-85 CRI and an L70 lifespan of 100,000 hours, ensuring long-term maintenance-free operation. This fixture effectively replaces up to 250W metal halide or 200W high-pressure sodium lamps, providing high-output illumination for wide outdoor areas.
Electrical & Controls
The integrated constant current driver operates on a universal 120-277V range and includes 0-10V dimming as a standard feature. For automated energy savings, it is equipped with a built-in 120-277V dusk-to-dawn photocell that activates the light based on ambient light levels. Electrical stability is supported by high power factor ratings up to 99.6% at 120V and low total harmonic distortion (THD) below 12%.
Construction & Durability
Constructed from precision die-cast aluminum with a gray powder coat finish, the YBLED is built for all-weather durability. It is IP65 rated against dust and water ingress and features a high-impact polycarbonate lens to resist vandalism. The housing has an Effective Projected Area (EPA) of 0.27 and is suitable for operation in ambient temperatures up to 104°F (40°C).
Installation & Mounting
This fixture is designed for quick installation on a flat wall or a 1 5/8″ diameter mast arm using the provided lag bolts. For mounting to an existing arm or pole, the YARM24 mounting arm adapter is available separately. The design includes an arm cover with conduit knockouts and internal tether cables to simplify wiring and maintenance in the field.
