Construction & Interface

The PD-5WS-DV-WH features a sleek white finish and a tap switch style for easy operation. It includes a green status LED that indicates load status and functions as a night light when the load is off. The wallplate is sold separately and is compatible with Lutron Claro or other designer-style wallplates.

Switch & Motor Control

This switch supports a range of load types, including incandescent, halogen, and LED, with a maximum load capacity of 5A. It integrates with Lutron’s Clear Connect RF Technology for reliable wireless communication with Pico remote controls and Caseta motion sensors.

Wiring & Installation

The PD-5WS-DV-WH does not require a neutral wire, simplifying installation. It supports single-pole, 3-way, and multi-location configurations using conventional wiring. The switch uses wire leads for connection and requires a 1-gang U.S. wallbox with a minimum depth of 2.25 in.
