Built from industrial-grade aluminum that acts as a heat sink — cooling the tape light and extending its lifespan — this channel is engineered for installations that demand both performance and longevity. The 45° angled profile measures 0.94 in. in height and 0.67 in. in width, with an interior width of 0.67 in. and interior depth of 0.32 in. — purpose-built to angle light downward from under cabinets, shelving, or cove installations. The aluminum extrusion is field and in-house cuttable to work with individual project specifications, and functions as a passive heat sink to protect your tape light investment from heat degradation. The Classic Frosted Lens delivers a semi-diffused output with a 20% light loss and -40K CCT shift, ideal for applications where a soft, even glow is preferred over full runway diffusion.
LED Illumination & Performance
The DI-CPCHB-45-48 channel does not emit light on its own — it is engineered to house, protect, and optimize LED tape light performance. The 45° angled profile directs the beam at 120° for broad, even coverage. The Classic Frosted Lens reduces hot spots and provides a smooth light output. For dotless results, pair with high-density tape lights. Compatible with Architectural Frosted, Classic Frosted, Premium Diffusion, and Black lens options (sold separately).
Power, Wiring & Linkability
The channel is compatible with 12mm terminal block, 8mm terminal block (clear and white), and Streamlite connector tape lights. It does not include integrated wiring or linkability features. The channel is field-cuttable to fit custom installation lengths. Compatible with standard tape light power supplies, dimmers, and controllers.
