Description
Unfinished steel fixture stem or lamp pipe, 3⁄8″ O.D., 1/8 IP male thread with 3⁄16″ length of thread on both ends. Lamp pipe is of good quality and made with a heavy wall thickness.
These fixture stems and lamp pipe are very useful in making lamp arms for industrial and mid-century modern style lamps and fixtures. The 1/8 IP male thread is cut straight with no taper so that the threading “disappears” into the lamp body or cluster into which it is inserted, allowing you to make a neat, seamless connection with no exposed threading.
Notice: These are made from raw steel and have various blemished and oxidation (rust) on the surface. They are excellent for a rustic look or to be painted or powder coated.
